Oblique view of Archimedes Crater. Using a 512 pixel-per-degree dataset (SLDEM from Map-A-Planet-2) I produced an stl file of LAC 41. It was necessary to downsample the dataset by 3, for a 177 meter-per-pixel resolution. Archimedes is 81 kilometers in diameter, or 457 pixels, which shows quite a bit of detail, especially when you zoom in. Snapshot from Meshlab with a little contrast adjustment in Photoshop.
