Byrd Crater: Full Moon   Leave a comment

Full Moon over Byrd Crater.  Sun 1.4 degrees south of the equator.  Shot with 25mm wide-angle lens into 200 meter per pixel data produced by the LOLA science team.

Same lighting, but 50 mm lens with the camera moved higher to frame the peaks between Peary and Byrd.
