Looking for the Peaks of Eternal Light   Leave a comment

Peary Crater over a full Lunar Day.  Sun at the equator.  I didn’t see any Peaks of Eternal Light looking north.

Peary Crater with the sun 15 degrees above the horizon. The ridge to the left of the crater at the top is the North Pole. 200 meter per pixel data derived from ldem produced by LOLA science team.
