Again, data from the Planetary Data System, this time plotted as relief.

A model of the North Pole of the Moon. Data from the LRO Laser Altimeter was processed and converted to a 16bit greyscale tiff and stored on the Planetary Data System managed by NASA. I downloaded a file and converted the tiff into 3D surface, then exported it as an stl file, which can be read by the Rapid Prototyper. This is to scale, 600 meters/millimeter, or 150km across, but the height is doubled because I forgot to read the manual. The Pole is in the center, part of the rim of Crater Peary, just to the left of that small deep crater missing a piece, Whipple.
